Society For Promotion of Oil Palm Research And Development (Regd. No.334/1996)
Cultivation of Oil Palm is gaining momentum and area expansion is rapidly increasing in many states in our country. In order to bring all the working groups related to Oil Palm crop viz. Researchers, Growers, Processing Industry etc., under one umbrella an association called "Society for Promotion of Oil Palm Research and Development" has been formed with the aim to promote oil palm development. It is publishing International Journal of Oil Palm, holding agricultural shows, conducting national seminars to diffuse the technology and discuss policy issues relating to oil palm. Encourages original investigations and regional societies. Society is a non-profitable and non-commercial association.
